“We’re ready to sweat”

Our approach to building a successful program at Spanish Springs High School is based on three principles: 1) Discipline, 2) Hard Work, and 3) Desire.  It’s important to incorporate and focus on these aspects because it allows the student athletes to develop skills that they carry into other aspects of their lives such as academics, jobs, and family life.  We have an expectation that every student athlete will understand the “core three” and apply them to the game, their studies and their lives outside school and basketball. 

We will build a rich tradition of the Spanish Springs Boys Basketball Program, teaching them the game of basketball and how to be competitive athletes while maintaining good sportsmanship.  We plan on building a successful program - one which the administration, student athletes, parents, coaches, and even our competition admires and respects. 

Our coaching staff is dedicated to developing our student athletes into competitive, strong basketball players.   We expect to work with each player to increase their knowledge of the game and to teach them how to work as a unit, while strengthening and developing their athleticism.
